About Izzy's Lit Lounge Tutoring

Hi! I’m Ms. Izaguirre, or “Izzy.” I’m a secondary English teacher with years of experience in English tutoring for grades 6–12, including AP English tutoring, AP English Language, Literature & Composition, college essays, and advanced writing skills. Because I’ve taught AP Lang myself, I know exactly what students need to succeed on the exam and how to build the foundational reading comprehension and writing skills that lead up to it. I specialize in helping middle schoolers close skill gaps and gain confidence, while also supporting high school students aiming for stronger performance in English classes, AP courses, and college admissions.
